Process

The interview process involved three steps:

  • Two phone interviews.
  • An onsite interview (which required a trans-Atlantic flight in my case).

The onsite interview lasted a full day and consisted of approximately five or six rounds. Each round was typically conducted by two engineers from the team for the position I applied for. The common scenario included:

  • Mutual introductions.
  • Questions about my previous experience and my motivation to work at Apple.
  • Coding tasks performed on a whiteboard.
  • My questions for the interviewers.

Questions

Since it was more than 3 years ago, I don't remember the questions.

Basically, it was mostly a mix of general Computer Science questions (algorithms and data structures) and Objective-C / Cocoa.
