I was first reached out to by a Software Engineer on the team and had a phone interview. Then, I met with a hiring manager and the Director of Engineering during a conference. Next, I had an onsite interview with four people. The feedback was all positive.
However, I was switched to a second manager's team, and she wanted more interviews. Eventually, it turned out that I was switched to a third sub-team with a new recruiter. All three sub-teams belong to the same department.
So, I did one more phone interview with a Software Engineer and another onsite interview with six people. It was a long process, but everyone I met was friendly, nice, and smart.
