I had two phone interviews, then was called for a face-to-face interview.

The phone interviews focused more on resume background. The face-to-face interview was purely technical, involving whiteboard questions from test strategy to core Java coding using data structures. I mostly stood to write on the whiteboard for a four-hour interview.

People expected to hear answers that matched exactly how things function in their organization today. While certain aspects were subjective and varied between organizations, this expectation was present.
