There was no interview. I am writing this review to give feedback on the process.

I was contacted by a recruiter from Apple after applying on their website for this position. My resume was already shared during the application.

I received an email with a questionnaire, which I filled out and sent over. This was mainly related to my role on previous projects and visa status, etc.

I received another call from the recruiter a couple of days later, and they scheduled a telephonic interview.

Just an hour before the telephonic interview was scheduled, I received a call stating that the interviewer was not available and the call was cancelled. This was just a couple of days before Christmas.

There was no communication for days after this. I assumed it was due to the holiday season.

A week into the new year, I followed up again to inquire about rescheduling. This time, I received an email stating they had a high number of very good candidates and it was a tough choice, etc. It was most likely a template email sent to all those who were not selected.

My concern: They should not have contacted me if my resume was not up to par in the first place. They should have responded if anything in my answers to the questionnaire did not meet the requirements. Or, if they did find some internal candidate during Christmas (!?), they should have at least informed me that I was no longer being considered.
