I met recruiters at the University Career Fair and submitted my resume through Apple's website. I received a call indicating they wanted to schedule a phone interview.
The call came from a software engineer working in their iOS Frameworks division. Most of my experience and resume material stemmed from my work writing iPhone applications, and they were hiring for their frameworks team.
It turned out to be a mismatch because my experience was one level above the software they were writing. They asked me two questions:
assign property attribute in a class declaration?Overall, it seemed like a fairly standard interview. I struggled with the second question. However, before ending the call, the Apple engineer mentioned that I had more experience than he did at my age. I am currently in college.
Why do you write @property (assign) in a property declaration on an Objective-C class?
