The process typically involved a phone screening, followed by a technical phone interview lasting approximately 45 minutes. The questions were very simple, which was disappointing to ask of a PhD candidate. For example, they asked about the MATLAB instruction to convert an RGB image to grayscale. This was not reflective of how I conduct my work.
