Verification Engineer Interview Experience - Jerusalem, Israel
Process
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks.
Had a phone call with a recruiter, and then a short phone call with one of the verification team leads—for a student position. Overall, a good experience, nice people, and constant contact before and after the interview.

Apple Work Experiences
- 4.0Chaotic Growth, Generous PayVerification Engineer • Current EmployeeJerusalem, Jerusalem, IsraelJanuary 13, 2021Pros: The lack of organization and support, high-pressure work, and an "all-work-no-play" culture means that within a few years here, you will be independent and really good at your job. Compensation is generous for invested employees, and the products themselves are interesting to build.Cons: Most engineers are professional and helpful, but there is no training culture or push for code methodology apart from general product-related guidelines. These subjects are left to the manager's discretion. So there is too much room for improvement in work efficiency, causing actual work to slow to a crawl. It's like the Israel section is still recovering from its chaotic time as a bunch of startups stitched together.
