Their pay is better than most companies, but you have to work extremely long hours and weekends.
Zero work/life balance.
Unethical management. The manager in my department (Silicon Engineering Group) only cares what his/her boss thinks and tries whatever possible to please his/her boss. They consistently made up stories/lies to make themselves look good in front of others. If things go bad, they try their best to blame others and cover their faults.
Nonfunctional HR. HR plays a very weak role. Reporting management issues to HR does not help; instead, retaliation is what you can get.
Recruited through a referral. Skyped with the recruiter. Went through a phone interview and then had a face-to-face with the recruiter. After a week, I had an interview with the Director. It was a very complex interview process, with five rounds.
Overall smooth. Had 3 interviews: one behavioral and 2 technical. Heavy system design and debugging. Interviewers were nice, standard interview format with an introduction and then mostly technical questions. Some OOP concepts needed as well.
It was a pretty standard big tech interview process. At a high level, it had the following steps: * Recruiter call * Hiring Manager screen * Technical phone screen * Onsite
