I applied for a Siri/iCloud software developer position in Seattle but was matched to a recruiter in Cupertino hiring full-stack developers. Before I was given an interview, the recruiter spoke with me over the phone. He believed I could move forwar

A recruiter approached me for a chat. I said I was surprised they were recruiting. The recruiter asked why, and I mentioned the recent layoffs. I haven't heard anything further since then.

They were really friendly and made sure I was happy. It was pretty good overall, but I did not get the job in the end, so that is sad and unfortunate.
