At Apple, you will work with a lot of really intelligent people (I worked with the guy who made AirDrop!), and they really strive to create the highest quality products. Their campus is beautiful, and they're very progressive.
On the other hand, they're very work hard, play hard. I was struggling at work, so I ended up pulling 12-hour days, and it was very demanding. My boss would not give me help to learn the architecture, even though I asked, and in general, I was micromanaged. The culture was too intense for me, so I had to leave, but I think this could definitely just be my individual manager.
