A really cheap company. A lot of people have drunk the Kool-Aid and will defend Apple's cheapness and inability to listen to their employees.
The culture here is heavily based on your social status and whether or not you're able to hang out with a bunch of Type-A people and pretend like you love what you're doing.
Poor pay.
Teams are very kept apart from each other.
The WLB is team-dependent, but it seems like the general consensus is to work long hours.
Initial screen: 1-person interview. Questions covered domain specifics and background checks. The resume and projects were also reviewed. Second round: 2-day interview with 7 people. This round included coding and domain-specific questions.
The interview process involved three technical Skype interviews before an on-site invitation. The process was very smooth. The Skype interviews were quite technical, and I found the on-site interview to be just as challenging.
Message on LinkedIn from a recruiter. Screening call with recruiter. Technical interview with the manager. The recruiter just discussed my resume. The manager asked very in-depth and technical questions related to operating systems.
