Software Engineer Interview Experience - United States

Process

Under planned.

The recruiter was great, and so was the interviewer. I liked them both, and they were very positive. I could see myself working with those personalities.

However, they clubbed the technical discussion and the CoderPad session on the same day with an uneven ratio. They spent 60% of the time on the technical discussion and ended up with only about 15 minutes for coding.

I really liked this opportunity; however, I am disappointed by the format. For reference, tech companies generally spend 15 minutes on technical chat and 45 minutes on technical coding.
