Good company to work for in R&D
Good company if you like to travel. R&D is still pretty intense, and one can learn a lot during the fast-paced environment.
Personnel turnover is very high.
Never felt secure in jobs due to frequent rumors of layoffs that usually came true.
It is very disconcerting to see quite a few announcements of VP promotions while the lower ranks are being decimated. It seems there is little respect or opportunity for lower ranks.
