Great place, lets you develop with guidance, no micromanaging.
Too many people in groups that have been working together for too long.
It's hard for managers to be effective when the employees they are managing went to school with the manager and have worked with them for 20 years.
Shuffling people around and bringing in new faces and new ideas can only benefit this company.

Applied Materials Interview Experiences
Manufacturing Engineer I
I only had one virtual interview, with a few employees. It was very stress-free and lasted for about 45 minutes total. After the interview, I was contacted by a member of the HR team, who then extended the job offer to me.
Software Engineer
Easy. They asked for two LeetCode easy and medium questions, plus two additional behavioral HR questions. They took around one month gap between each round to invite to the next round (slow process).
Mechanical Engineer Intern
The interviewer was very friendly. I was asked only behavioral questions. I thought the interview went well, but unfortunately, I wasn't offered a second round. It was conducted over the phone, not Zoom, and lasted 30 minutes.
