Pros

As a student, it is a good opportunity to work in a large company. My team leaders take into account that I'm a student and I have a flexible timetable, so that I can combine study and work.

Applied Materials is a multi-disciplinary company, so if you work as a mechanical engineer, you will work in parallel with software, electrical, application, and other engineers.

Cons

The semiconductor field is a closed market, so if you choose to switch jobs to another company, it will most likely be to a competitor, client, or provider. In other fields, this company name says absolutely nothing, despite the fact that it has 14,000 employees.
