Pros: Excellent team environment. Mentors and Mentee program to help you grow. Your manager helps you with assigned work. You work as a team, and coordination is excellent with Agile. Latest tech stack: AWS, JIRA, React, Microservices, Clouds (other than AWS too in some teams). Best is the culture: HR to directors, everyone has time for you. They listen and help you. It's more like a flat hierarchy, and all are working together for the same goal. Extra Zoom fatigue day and summer day holidays are given. Sunny CEO even keeps open talks with everyone once a month and listens and understands what can be done better.

Cons: Apptio is very silently doing great work, like Covid relief efforts, millions of dollars in donations, helping many members during the Covid situation, and arranging hospital beds when needed, even during very tough times. Apptio needs to highlight and communicate this in the market so that others can learn and other companies can come forward too.

Pros: First mover advantage on the product profile. Not much competition, so a wide-open field for generating sales. Good snacks in the kitchen. Good engineering talent.

Cons: Awful engineering culture. Internal politics and one-upmanship in every meeting. You can feel the tension in the room in most meetings. Original code was very monolithic and hard to understand. The company is trying to move to a more SaaS style in development. HR is trying to improve the culture, but I'm not sure how much they can influence given the seniority of engineering management.

Pros: Good people, work-life balance.

Cons: No cons I can find.
