People are generally easy to work with. Lots of opportunity for growth and impact. Employees are treated well and respected.
Some custom company processes which weren't scaling well with the company, but it feels like we are addressing those.
Better career path for senior engineers/ICs. It doesn't feel like there is as much room for larger impact without switching into management, with most people wanting to move into management instead of staying an IC. There are few high-level IC roles.
It's not as easy for experienced engineers joining from other companies to make an impact because of custom parts of the tech stack.
