Many rounds of interviews, both technical and non-technical. Declined the final interview due to a competing offer. I likely would not have accepted an offer due to the amount of red flags I saw with their culture and engineering process.

Interviewers were very friendly, and I had a great time chatting with them. The questions were pretty much what you would expect for a position like this: OOP, C/C++ concepts, questions about testing code, etc.

The more questions I asked about work-life balance, the more it became clear to me that this is not a company that has any focus on avoiding employee burnout. Long hours and required weekends were mentioned.

The salary was slightly above average, but when you consider the extended hours, it falls short.
