I had to go through two rounds of the interview process before I got rejected.
First round was over the phone and was a very technical interview. I talked a lot about my recent work experience and how much I already knew about the job and the company.
Second round of interview was set up after a month. This one was a six-hour continuous interview process with a lunch interview in between. I was asked to give a technical presentation for 45 minutes at the very beginning. There were six rounds of interviews, with two people taking the interview each time. One of the rounds was with HR.
Very technical and situational questions on how to solve problems based on your presentation and work experiences. One of the interviewers asked behavioral questions most of the time.
How much did I know about lasers?
How did you deal with a situation when you were in conflict with your team member?
