Cons: The non-technical managers do not schedule shift rotations nor arrange gaps for the holiday season. They ask the employees/engineers to handle this within the team.

Pros: Good work-life balance and great people.

Cons: Pay can be low, and some people can be hard to work with.

Pros: The technology with which one works is absolutely fascinating and unique. And you will be working with colleagues from many different backgrounds.

Cons: ASML frequently shows itself to have outgrown its systems and governance. I can't speak for other departments, as manufacturing seems mostly divorced from everything else, but in the factories, your work and, even more, your career are constantly haunted by bosses and systems from when this was a relatively obscure Dutch company. These haven't kept up with the fact this is now, supposedly, a modern company. As a senior colleague frequently says: "We work in the largest backyard company in the world."
