Working with many knowledgeable people, higher than average benefits, a nice campus, and tasty food in the canteens. In general, the work culture is great, except if you happen to encounter an incompetent manager. Work-life balance is also a consideration.

Was under a manager who lacks social competence entirely, unable to listen or communicate well. It's funny that someone like this can move around and keep a job in a capable company.

Sometimes, people who can talk and present get attention rather than those who "really" work. The ability to talk and work should be golden, but those who work outside the spotlight should also receive proper recognition.

Pay attention to the middle managers. I have encountered some incompetent managers.
