Pros

A lot of smart engineers who, for the most part, will take time out of their busy schedules to help.

Cons

You will work overtime to meet impossible deadlines with no appreciation, then get blamed for other people's mistakes by senior staff/management. They will then joke in front of you about how they blame software for all of their problems.

Bad location with high housing costs.

No role clarity or any real training. You'll be moved around on projects to rush work with no explanation.

The process is horrible and time-consuming, but if you make any suggestion to improve upon it, you risk being retaliated against by arrogant senior staff.

Advice to Management

Resign and go work at a McDonald's if you want to treat engineers like minimum wage workers.
