Good for control engineering Cutting edge tech Friendly employees

Cons
  • Employees are treated as mere resources rather than assets.
  • The software department is full of managers playing politics rather than helping the company to grow and succeed.
  • Favoritism and blame games are daily rituals.
  • There is a lack of professionalism coming especially from Group Leads, specifically Asian and South Asian managers (I’m of South Asian ethnicity myself) without any experience whatsoever, but feeling self-entitled to their positions.
  • There is a lack of transparency in the hiring process to an extent where inexperienced employees join software teams out of nowhere for senior positions.
Advice to Management

Top-level management needs to make some critical changes regarding the hiring process and re-evaluate employees for the positions they have been assigned to, including group leads and project leads.
