Compensation and benefits are just ok. I like the product the company is working on; there are lots of smart people doing great work. The stock has been rising with the AI frenzy, which benefits all employees a little. The European part and the sites in San Diego and Wilton seem to be well managed.
The San Jose site is not well managed. People get promoted to manager not for management skills, but for the length of stay in the company or guanxi.
A tall hierarchy and small groups with only two or three people make work very inefficient. Managers in general don't know how to motivate or protect their employees, but just try to get them overloaded to make the upper managers happy.
