Pros

They give you plenty of free time to explore and work on your own.

Cons

The supervisors may not be very knowledgeable. They work from home quite a lot, not learning new technology, and not allowing contractors to attend any technology talks held at the site while they can.

Advice to Management

Set an example by yourself.
