Pros

Co-workers that are encouraging and supportive.

Cons

They are in continuous downsizing mode, spreading the workload among fewer and fewer resources left in the company.

They seem to be targeting older workers to leave the business – the CEO even said so.

They also seem to be hyper-focused on where you work rather than what you actually do or how you perform.

They continually trim or eliminate benefits under the excuse, "We are following industry standards."

Advice to Management

If you want older workers to leave, give them an incentive (carrot, not stick). Give them their retirement medical benefits back and give them a full year's severance, and actually thank them for dedicating over half their life to the success of your company that pays your very handsome salaries.
