The company works really hard to make you feel welcome and excited to be there.
All of the interns are assigned a supervisor, and you pretty much become a full-time employee for the summer.
There is lots of opportunity to become friends with your fellow interns, and I highly suggest you do! It makes the summer incredibly fun.
This is not necessarily a con, but if you're an engineer, most of the internship jobs are very business management oriented. There is not an incredible amount of hands-on technical work.
Management is terrific! All of the supervisors are incredibly friendly and glad to work with you. I never crossed a full-time employee that wasn't eager to help me.
Got called by the staffing agency, where she asked some questions about my background and filled me in on the position. The first interview was a telephone screening with one of the leads. The second was at the corporate building, where I met a panel
Nice and fair interview. Highly skilled interviewer. Several technical questions, no specific area.
You need to be technical, but hiring managers are more concerned about time and project management over technical skills.
