Laid Off After Informing Mgmt I had CANCER
none after being laid off (disclosed cancer to management).
I was laid off one day after informing the consulting company that I had cancer. Within one week after disclosure, AT&T posted my job on their AT&T Careers website. Disability is considered a liability.
A very despicable practice to identify that their services are not needed anymore because of a disability. I hope their conscience suffers because their actions have caused significant heartache to my family.
