Pros

You can be the best worker bee possible in this work environment. However, when they get tired of you or you begin to make more than they think you should, you will be let go. No loyalty at all here.

Cons

If you are looking to be a puppet and do exactly as your manager or direct supervisor tells you without questioning them, then this is the place for you. You can have a long career with no growth in pay and very little opportunity to be promoted unless someone takes a liking to you outside of work.

Advice to Management

You may get to first-line management and maybe a little higher if you get the right person as a supervisor. It is not what you know here. It is definitely who you know that gets you to the next level.
