Contribution is valued at each and every level.
Senior management is transparent to employees, and one can certainly see how the direction a team is going is beneficial to the company and to every employee.
Here, you can work at a relatively moderate pace, and the company values loyalty too. I see other employees serving at the 10-year, 20-year level. This means this is the company they chose to retire with.
Nice benefits as well.
As it is already a very large company, individual promotion may be slower than in start-up companies.
Decision-making may not be done by the most intelligent person at some points. You may also get projects that don't make much sense.
Pretty standard technical interview process, consisting of a mix of behavioral, technical, and coding questions. It was a single round with multiple interviewers. Some questions are geared towards what is shown on the resume.
Took about 3 weeks and 2 interviews. First was an HR screen, and the second was with an HR manager who asked diagnostic questions (rate yourself 1-10 on Excel, Python, etc.) and questions about how you manage your time and schoolwork.
Phone screen followed by an on-site interview. Nothing very difficult about that. The background check company was extremely annoying, as they insisted that I remember and provide contact information for past bosses going back 15 to almost 20 years
