I enjoy the people. Of course, we love our customers, and that's the reason we are here. But every team I have been a part of has been the best.
Everyone works towards the same goal, and that is to utilize each and everyone's talent to propel our goals and the company to the highest standards of excellence.
Next, I would say opportunities to increase knowledge with personal development classes and initiatives is how I have excelled like I have. Training & development is top-notch at AT&T.
There was always support from my managers and departments to expand outside of what I currently know and to reach for my highest dreams and goals.
There was a time in the distant past when I would say it was an opportunity to get more communication from top leadership on how our individual departments fit in, but that has changed a lot. We do hear from our leadership teams with townhalls, skip levels, and other venues that give insight on how our initiatives fit in the big picture.
The interview process was standard. The first interview was over the phone. The second interview was at the AT&T facility with a local employee and a manager based out of state. Basic technology questions. Nothing too complicated.
Applied online. Got a direct link to schedule an interview with the team. No recruiter involved. System Design: Indepth resume review, design APIs. Coding: 1 coding question, LC Medium. Behavioural: Typical "tell me about a time..."
2 technical interviews with team leaders, 1 short technical exam, and one interview with HR.
