The standards are so low you can get by with minimal effort if you are a competent dev who understands SOLID principles and OOP fundamentals and knows how to make reusable code. Great place for juniors who need experience with a low barrier of entry.
Really low dev standards.
It was very frustrating working on a team of devs who kept 'fixing' bugs by adding one more if-else to an already unstable solution.
I lost the will to fight the poor dev practices after 6 months.
Not a good culture for sr devs.
Putting up with under-performers will continue to kill the morale of competent devs unless you raise your standards.
Started with a phone call with the boss. Then moved on to a video conference call with members of the current team. The entire interview process was quick, although the overall hiring process took a long time.
Had two rounds. 1. Basic DSA questions - LeetCode medium. 2. System design and in-depth knowledge of various terminologies. 3. Hiring Manager round - More about resume, team match, and cultural fit.
OA, then a behavioral interview with the hiring recruiter, then a technical interview where they give you a take-home assessment and you go over the assignment, then another behavioral with the Associate Director of Technology.
