Process
After being referred, I had a quick call with a recruiter.
Then, the first interview screen: a very fair, straightforward frontend systems design interview with an engineer. Nothing tricky.
After passing, I had a full day of interviews (all remote):
- Behavioral
- Systems
- Live coding in a framework of your choice (I chose React)
- An interview that tested my understanding of full-stack concepts (from CRUD to DNS to SSL to DB architecture). Basically, they kept probing until I hit a wall.
- Values interview with a non-engineer
Questions
Straightforward systems design (talk through a UI design).
Straightforward live coding (build a basic file tree).
Discuss past engineering experiences.
Ask how you relate to company values.
