The interview process had 5 rounds:
Firstly, the process was very well organized and transparent. The recruiter shared a lot of information related to expectations before each round, and feedback after each round was provided within a reasonable time window.
Coding rounds: In my opinion, there was very little difference between both of them. The Code Design was very similar to the DSA round, with just a slightly more complex problem.
Leadership and Values are both quite peculiar rounds for me. Mostly overlapping questions.
Feedback: Generally, I passed all rounds with good feedback. However, some comments were somewhat surprising:
In the end, it took more than 2 weeks after all rounds to get to the offer. I was downgraded to a Senior role mainly because of the values/leadership feedback. My leadership skills are generally impressive but not as good for a Principal role. I rejected the offer and accepted a comparable Principal role at a different company.
Coding (DSA) - Top K items problem
Coding (Code Design) - Rate limiter
System Design - Tagging system
Values/Leadership - Typical behavioral questions
