I applied in the middle of the night (my motivation that night was on a higher side and slumber on a lower) by going to the company website.
Got a mail the next day that they were interested in starting the process. Got a link (the next day) for an online coding round, valid for 7 days. I took some time to get used to the HackerRank platform by attempting a few algorithm challenges.
I took the online test one fine morning. I answered 2 questions (both 7/8 pass case) and for the third (more challenging) one, I wrote half the code and the rest half of the logic in comments.
I was expecting a call for the next round, as I had read comments on Glassdoor that 2 or more answers could get us through. I couldn't go through. They replied the very same day that my experience and performance in the test combined weren't good enough to take my application forward. I was a bit shocked and disappointed.
