I was recently interviewed for a Senior Software Engineer position.

There was a screening interview involving system design, which was followed by a virtual onsite.

The virtual onsite involved five rounds:

• Data Structures Round: The question was simple, but the interviewer didn't have knowledge of the language I picked. The tool used kept complaining about compilation issues, and I had to reload.
• Code Design Round: The interviewer was not interested at all and looked very disinterested. The same problem occurred with the tool, which kept complaining about issues and needed a reload. Also, the interviewer kept intervening while I was working on the code, and I felt that their goal was to fail me in the interview.

Having said that, the interviewers in the other rounds were smooth and very conversant.
