The interview rounds covered:
Though most interview rounds made sense, the values and manager rounds seemed repetitive.
The system design round did not align with how SREs typically understand systems. The interviewer appeared to have a backend background and focused solely on schema and API design. Furthermore, he seemed to have a preconceived notion of a solution, assuming everyone would be familiar with DynamoDB. He was opinionated, and the interview was a negative experience.
The recruiter failed to provide feedback or even inform me of the result. Despite repeated assurances of an update, no communication was received, not even a simple denial email.
