Karat Interview Round

Total of 1 hour:

• System design question (20 mins) - This was just one question. It felt pretty robotic, almost like they had a list of keywords they were checking off if you mentioned them.
• Coding problems (LeetCode medium level, but not exactly LeetCode problems – more practical) (40 mins) - There were two questions; I got through 1.5.

I don't remember all the specifics, but it was basically the TinyURL system design question. Instead of me designing the system from scratch, they wanted me to describe exactly what happens when the user presses the 'Enter' button on the frontend – every single step of the process, until they are delivered a response.
