I was contacted by a recruiter for a 30-minute intro call with the recruiter. The next step was a telephonic technical interview where I was asked LeetCode Medium questions. The same day, I was contacted by the recruiter for the next step, an onsite interview, and was introduced to another recruiter. But since I was planning to travel, I asked if it was okay to interview once I was back, and they said that's fine. Once I was back, I reached out to both recruiters and found out the first recruiter was no longer working there. The second recruiter did not reply for more than a month. Finally, I got a response and talked on a call, where the recruiter asked me why it took me so long to contact them back, while clearly, they did not reply back for two months. The next day, I got a rejection email. If they were not okay with waiting, they could have let me know. I would have interviewed before traveling.
