Process
The interview process involved many steps.
I was interviewed approximately four times, and at random, I was informed they were not moving forward.
During the last interview, the person appeared as though they did not want to be there.
There were to be a total of seven interviews.
Several weeks passed between each step.
Overall, I felt they already knew they were going to hire someone internally but had me, an external candidate, interview as a formality.
