Good perks in Sydney office. A lot of genius.
There are always some "crap" in such a big company. Unfortunately, I am in a bad team, a really bad one.
The team leader in that team didn't want to take any responsibility. He "forced" everyone to code the way he thought might fit the manager's preference.
That manager jumped into the team from time to time to do some micromanagement, like at the code level. He nitpicked things like variable names or suggested that lodash.get is slower than 'a && a.b' in a cached situation. (My argument is, as long as it's not a bottleneck for the app, why not make your code shorter and easier to read...)
And they are arrogant in receiving any technical suggestions that differ from their own.
Also, this team has a really bad work-life balance because the manager is just too ambitious.
