Low pay, long hours, no talent retention, micro-management culture, lack of vision, cloak and dagger HR, unethical, fake – just to name a few of the pros.
Atlassian is a hard slog, but once you're in, you're in, right? Wrong.
Unless you have no life outside work whatsoever, you are constantly reminded that there are an army of Java grads ready to take your job.
Unless you're happy to be in a cult / B-rated version of Harry Potter, avoid at all costs.
Don't hire 200+ people in Saigon, have us hand over code, and then fire them just before the company goes public, citing, "There just isn't the skill set there for us to get the return of investment we want."
