Company cares about employees and their opinions. Great flexibility and good perks. Interesting work.
Hiring process is poorly structured and leaves reviewers rating candidates conservatively.
Tried to roll out titling changes without consulting staff, resulting in major issues.
Promotional path seems to be encouraging employees pursuing horizontal growth before returning.
The HR process needs to be reviewed. It only allows for poor judgment of ability at higher levels.
Consult staff closely before implementing company-wide changes that impact their career growth.
Don't be afraid to use probationary periods for hiring and promotion. The current attitude promotes employees "boomeranging" for promotion rather than staff taking a risk.
