You'll work with the smartest people in the area, at least in Australia.
A pain in the axy to work for. Disorganized, difficult to find any valid information regarding the systems. Way too much red tape for everything. Performance review is just an excuse to implement stack ranking, or to get rid of good performers for performance-unrelated reasons.
Lack of focus is a major problem, and SWEs are expected to do way too much work completely unrelated to building software. Most of the skills you need day-to-day weren't even interviewed for, or aren't part of the job dsecription at all.
Not worth it.
