Used to be good, but now not worth it
Decent pay. Some really good coworkers.
Brutal performance reviews, where you feel the need to work overtime, compete with team members, and only complete work that will reflect well on your performance review.
Lots of pressure from upper management to complete company-wide initiatives with not enough time or resources. This leads to scrappy, unmaintainable code and no time to focus on improving or maintaining services.
All my coworkers I've talked to are trying to leave.
