Now, in 2014, Atlassian is a great company. The only comment I would make is to stop doing what every other company is doing.
Atlassian used to have its own unique culture. Management and HR experimented with new things. But in the past year, it seems that everything that made us special has been replaced by practices that are uninspiring and/or widely known to be bad for companies (e.g., performance distribution curves, etc.).
Nice interviewer, but I did not get an offer. Good experience anyway, I think. I have heard good things about the company culture, so I think it would be a good place to work.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. The interview process took about three weeks in total. It began with a standard 30-minute HR phone screen where we discussed my background, resume, and general expectations. The second round was a 45-minut
1. Phone screen 2. Karat - odd experience. I also interviewed for Meta and made it through. For Atlassian, I failed because the input for the question was too lengthy, and I was asked to explain the whole process to solve it, which I failed to type
