Cons

Pretty much everything else!

It's a rat race and competition is fierce, not in a good way. Atlassian has been my unhappiest job since I started my career in 2011. In my previous companies (decent sized ones), I have won best employee of the month in the APAC region, but Atlassian has destroyed my self-esteem!

I've never seen an Atlassian that some claimed to be "one of the best places to work".

Advice to Management

In reality, no one does a 9 to 5 job. With Apex, we are indirectly expected to work more. While it could be suitable for people in their early 20s, for people with kids or other commitments, we are forced to compete with those who have the luxury of working longer hours to make a greater impact.
