I have given interviews for a couple of positions. On my first attempt, I progressed to the second round. In my second attempt, I was unable to clear the first round.
Both times, I asked the HR for detailed feedback because I was confident and sensed from the panel's reaction that they were also satisfied. However, the HR did not share the detailed feedback, stating it would break a confidentiality clause.
Does sharing interview feedback with the interviewee break the confidentiality clause? They are just wasting the interviewee's time, perhaps because their employees have time for this.
Furthermore, during the first attempt, I received round-wise topics from HR, which were not followed at all. I'm unsure why they share such information if they themselves do not adhere to it.
It was a bad experience for me both times.
