I applied online and contacted an Autodesk recruiter through LinkedIn. She referred me to a third party that helps Autodesk hire in Montreal (Stolo.com).
Then, I received a call from one of Stolo's senior recruiters, and she set up an interview with me. However, she didn't explicitly mention the interview location, and I assumed the address in her signature was her address.
After going to the Stolo office and waiting for 15-20 minutes, I was interviewed by a junior recruiter for a totally different position.
Since the interview was not relevant, the second interviewer told me that the senior recruiter would set up an interview with me.
Still, after a month of sending tons of follow-ups, calling, and leaving voicemails, the recruiter from Stolo has not responded.
I don't know why a company like Autodesk works with amateur recruiters like Stolo.
In my short, non-relevant interview, I was asked about my CV and the technologies needed for the position. That was where I realized the position was wrong!
