I was told during the recruiter screening that this is a Python-focused role and would only require some knowledge of front-end for interacting with front-end developers. The coding interview was a 100% front-end coding interview on technologies that I had previously mentioned I was not skilled in. Obviously, I could not complete the front-end coding challenge.
I do not understand if there was a miscommunication between the recruiter, hiring manager, and interviewer. It was an absolutely horrible experience. I did not even apply for a front-end role.
